Welcome to the McEachron Media Center!

Library Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday

Students come to the library each week for 30 minutes with their class. The class receives a 15 minute lesson on literacy skills, library skills, and/or information technology. The remaining 15 minutes is used for book selection.

Students keep their books for one week with the option to recheck for another week:

Preschool checks out one book per week (book stays at school)
Kindergarten checks out one book per week
First Grade through Fifth Grade checks out two books per week

The mission of the Topeka Public Schools Library Media Program is to empower all students and staff to be effective users of information and information technology in order to communicate ideas and solve problems in an ever-changing world, and to foster life-long literacy.
